You will see the beautiful Spanish Steps, site of numerous popular manifestations and the setting for many famous films, Piazza Navona, the 18th century Trevi Fountains and the Pantheon. Assisi, the city of the Patron Saint of Italy, Saint Francis (1181-1226). The Basilica, dedicated to Saint Francisand and is decorated with frescoes by Cimabue and Giotto. It was unfortunately badly damaged by the earthquake in 1998, but subsequently restored to its original beauty.
